Gifted and Talented

At Knapp, students in our Gifted and Talented Program, as well as those in the talent pool, receive opportunities to engage in high level learning experiences that are interactive, rigorous, and connected to students’ interests. Classroom teachers and the GT teacher collaborate to provide differentiated instruction including interest-based projects, acceleration in their strength areas, as well as enrichment opportunities. Our GT students social/emotional growth is aligned with our “Knapp Knight Character Traits”- Respect, Cooperation, Kindness, Empathy, Responsibility, Perseverance, and Integrity.
