Knapp Elementary is notifying the community of its intent to partner with Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver to submit a proposal to the Colorado Department of Education’s Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) program. This program receives federal funds from the U.S. Department of Education and is dedicated to expanding learning opportunities for students, including before-school, after-school, and summer learning. Through partnership between Knapp Elementary and Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, the 21st CCLC will offer enrichment activities that complement school-day learning and help students meet state and local achievement standards.
