Summer Resources for Families

DPS Summer Meal Program (website)Every summer Denver Public Schools participates in the Summer Food Service Program. The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a federally-funded, state-administered program and refers to the free meal program offered during summer months that provides nutritious meals to children 18 years and younger at no charge, regardless of income, race or religion.

Denver Health School Based Clinics Summer Flier (English/Spanish) All services are provided at NO COST to families and any Denver Public Schools student or sibling can be seen at the summer locations. All other locations will reopen at the start of the school year.

Denver Health FORGE & PEAS Programs Flier (English) The PEAS program provides psychological, developmental, and logistical support to the families of Denver’s infants and young children.

Clothes to Kids Flier (English/Spanish) Students must be age 3-21, live in the 11-county Denver Metro Area and be enrolled in preschool – 12th grade, or working toward a GED. 

DPS Community Hubs All Hub services are available at no cost to DPS families and Denver community members. Services include but are not limited to: basic needs assistance, parenting classes, GED English/Spanish support, language classes, Multilingual Education supports (newcomer, immigrants, and refugee families support), etc.
