Lauren Bailey

Mrs. Bailey grew up in Washington state and graduated from Gonzaga University in 2008 with degrees in Criminal Justice, Spanish, and Business. She originally postponed law school to move to Colorado and begin teaching at Knapp, and teaching has been one of her passions ever since. She received her Master's degree in education in 2010 and has experience teaching second through fifth grades, has worked as a literacy partner at the district level, and also a teacher leader at the school level. It is no exaggeration to say that Mrs. Bailey loves all that Colorado has to offer. She and her husband don't have children, so they completely spoil their dog. They spend a lot of time outdoors in any weather: hiking, skiing, gardening, biking, and paddling on the water are common hobbies. Mrs. Bailey is also an avid reader, she loves baking sourdough bread, and she believes that public libraries are for everyone.
